Treating your sleep apnea is not the end story but just the beginning. True CPAP can be life changing but successfully treating a disorder, does not change your life, but allows you the motivation to start a new life. If you are a couch potato, using a CPAP device is not going to change you into a marathon runner. Plenty of people without sleep apnea are coach potatoes and perfectly happy to stay on the coach so CPAP is not a magic potion.
It will however give you back quality of sleep which in turn will give you the drive to try new things.
